Boletus edulis is a widespread species throughout Italy and in all temperate areas of Europe and the world. In Italy it is known by the name of Porcino Mushroom. From a gastronomic and nutritional point of view, Porcini Mushrooms are one of the most esteemed species of mushrooms (perhaps the most esteemed) especially after drying. It grows under conifers Synonym of Aghifoglie. Laws and birch, oak and beech and its flesh develops a very pleasant aroma.
